Adults

Swimming lessons for adults come in many different forms.

1.  Afraid of the water - can't swim.
2.  Can swim - but not confident in the pool.
3.  Would like to join a Masters swim program (swim group for adults) - don't know the correct strokes.
4.  Training for a triathlon - swimming is your weakest link.

I love working with adults.  I love to see the relief when they've learned how to swim or have tackled their fear of the water. Swimming is not as hard as you think it is.  I can help get you swimming and enjoying a life in-and-around a pool.

If you already know how to swim, I can teach you how to be more efficient in the pool.  It's usually just a simple technique you're doing wrong,  i.e. head is up, legs bending too much, etc.  Within just a few lessons, you should be more confident and comfortable in the pool.

Joining a Masters group can be a lot of fun.  I love to coach my friends and help them with their strokes.  The triathlon swim leg can be very difficult if you're swimming incorrectly.  Try just a few lessons and your swim training will become much easier and you'll be swimming faster.

There are many pools to train in around El Dorado county.  We live in a beautiful area which offers many lakes perfect for triathlon training.  Check out the United States Masters Swimming for more information on a Masters team or Open Water event.  Click Here
